[UPDATE] 10 Songs That Will Put You in a Great Mood - Instantly

So today I'm hanging out with the BuDaChick by a pool, my mobile phone sucks and I had already completed her US Weekly.  Cosmopolitan with Jessica Alba on the cover was just sitting RIGHT THERE.  I thought, maybe there's a hot picture of her, and I wouldn't mind knowing how she keeps her career and love life on fire.

On Page 161, (113 pages after the Jessica Alba article*) I see this.  "10 Songs That Will Put You in a Great Mood-Instantly".  Starting with a Timbaland (featuring Katy Perry) song, I know this list can't be good, but number three down, "Don't Stop Believing" from the Glee soundtrack?  WHAT THE FUCK?  THE GLEE SOUNDTRACK?!

Seriously, Journey and Steve Perry's original version isn't good enough to put you in a great mood?  You need to pop in the Glee soundtrack to really get that mood status from good to great?

Fuck that.  Just to check I wasn't a complete retard I listened to this version.  Sure enough - it's turrible.  You can't tell me it's better than the original (P.S. - YouTube "Don't Stop Believing", the public has taken their artistic view to make a classic that much worse).

This got me thinking - first, Cosmopolitan is full of shit, and second, what would be the Top 10 songs to get into a great mood.  Don't Stop Believing is a great song, so let's just assume for now that it's up there, but for my list I'll knock it off.  That's right bitches, it's list time.

10 Song That Should Make for an Awesome Mood Regardless of Your Mood and/or Demeanor

"Fooling Yourself" by Styx
Why: "Relax, Take it easy..." @ 1:28

"Travelling Riverside Blues" by Led Zeppelin
Why: Seriously, good mood or bad mood

"Closer to the Heart" by Rush
Why: If you don't want to be better after hearing this, you're inhuman - close Rush 2nd, "Fly By Night"

"Have A Drink On Me" by AC/DC
Why: C'mon!  You should feel better after the first riff

"#41" by Dave Matthews Band
Why: A great song that doesn't get much play, nice and chill

"Sweet Emotion" by Aerosmith
Why: When you take out the music video entertainment lawyer crap, it's actually a good song, "I can't say baby where I'll be in a year"

"Tenth Avenue Freeze Out" by Bruce Springsteen
Why: More like, why not

"Bron-Y-Aur Stomp" by Led Zeppelin
Why: Because it makes me feel awesome

"Badlands" by Bruce Springsteen
Why: How can you not rock Paris '85?  This list could be filled with Bruce, so you should consider yourself there isn't more of him.  Next in line, "Rosalita (Come Out Tonight)", and "The Promised Land" ["Atlantic City-Paris"] ["Trapped"]

"Werid Fishes / Arpeggi" by Radiohead
Why: In the event that you need a serious pick-me-up, this is your song.  Trust.  Trust in the BuDaMan

*So how'd that Jessica Alba thing go?  Well, pretty well honestly!  It was pretty good.  Prett-ay, prett-ay, prettay good.  See for yourself, see page 3, bam.
