REVIEW: Valentine's Day

BuDaChick apparently recorded this movie a few weeks ago on HBO, and this morning she hit the play button.  I was in the vicinity.

This movie is one of those chick-flick ensembles, where they basically put everyone and anyone in a movie and see what happens.  Not just regular actors, like headliners.  You know, so it's distracting.

George Lopez plays the role of an extra, or a guest starring role for his 30 seconds of borderline coherent film.  Queen Latifah plays the role of the boss of one of the main-er characters.

In a nutshell, this movie was AWESOME!

REVIEW: AC Brotherhood AND Force Unleashed 2

Duel review.  Both are sequel video games to games I really enjoyed.  I've enjoy the AC series since the first Assassin's Creed came out in 2007, and I try to downplay how much of a Star Wars nut I am.  I'm also a rabid video game fanatic.  How'd they stack up?

Divisional Playoff Weekend 2011 - VIDEO UPDATE

"...they can't stop a nosebleed..."

That's a great rant.  Big fan.  Deion Branch said some of the Jets were classless in their victory.  Yeah, I can see that.  I'm interested to see how the NFL handles Rex Ryan running down to the end zone when Shonn Greene got flagged for his "put them to bed" celebration - no Rex didn't reprimand him for a 15 yard flag, he ran down to congratulate him.  I did like the Braylon Edwards backflip.

REVIEW: Red Dead Redemption

Red Dead for the Xbox 360 is the most recent game I've played.  Began it before I got married, and before I moved, and finished it after.  It's a Rockstar free-roam game involving guns - it's going to get compared to Grand Theft Auto.  That is relatively unfair, because this game is certainly it's own, but from the engine to the interface, there is nothing else to compare it to.

So how does it stack up against Grand Theft Auto (specifically GTA IV), and how does this game stack up on its own?  Let me say this - I enjoy driving a GTA car much more than riding a Red Dead horse.

Wildcard Weekend 2011

So I said to my brother today during the Green Bay-Philly game, "Wow, if Green Bay holds on that will be all 4 wild card teams advancing, and not a single divisional winner moving on."  He immediately corrected me.  I totally forgot the Seahawks were the divisional winners - after all the discussion about how terrible they are, and underdogged to the Saints, I forgot.

Paul Sorvino has his own food line?

Holy shit - Paul Sorvino has his own food line.  Why?  This guy probably doesn't cook, he only acted like he did while he was in jail as Paul Cicero in Goodfellas.

That picture is also circa Goodfellas.  Who are you kidding Paulie?  For real though, Paul Sorvino Foods, Inc. is apparently legit.  I mean, as a company.  I have no clue if this food is any good.  Anyone know if it's decent?
