
I don't know who read the article, and its actually from about 6-8 weeks ago. Kurkjian tries to answer the question, "Why is the number 100 significant for pitcher's pitch count today?" Personally, Tim sold me on this idea. I'm a big fan of the game of Baseball, and the breakdown of not only total pitch count, but the count of pitches under duress (different situation for 2 outs and no one on, versus no outs bases loaded) was a really interesting idea. So one question - are pitchers/batters today bitches for not pitching complete games everytime and not playing every single day? I don't think so, and this article does a really good job of pointing that out. Read it here.
