Man-Genius No More?

Eric Mangini went from being the Man-Genius a few years back, to being a head coach who has every move he makes questioned.

Mangini was fired last season by the New York Jets, and was almost immediately hired by the Cleveland Browns.  Everyone was so happy about this move, and so happy that Mangini could be there.  For a guy who wasn't wanted by another organization, the media seemed to believe this was a match made in heaven.

My, how the tables have turned!

People in Cleveland are PISSED!  Mangini doesn't seem to have the respect of his team and keeps making peculiar coaching decisions.  His latest escapade is the decision on who will be the starting quarterback.  Thanks for the information that YOU know Man-Moron, but maybe you're team should have an idea who is going to lead them into battle - because it sure as hell won't be you.

I was never a huge fan of Mangini's, and I was also never one of the ones who thought he NEEDED to be fired.  But these moves he's making just seem ridiculous.  I don't know what he's thinking, but his General Manager was fired for god knows what (supposedly for being retarded or looking at porn through his emails), and there is no way that Mangini can continue making these preposterous decisions, lose the way the team has been losing, AND keep his job by the seasons end - who else would take over for the Browns?  Mangini might just keep his job by two words - DE-FAULT.

In other football-related news, an ex-NFL player and current hall of famer made the news this weekend.  Seriously, how did they not give him a drug test when he believe the human being he hit was a guard rail.  Maybe LT actually said, "I was blasting rails, and this dude came out of nowhere!  I had no idea!"  See, blasting rails versus hitting guard rails - Ya need ta listen Lou!
