Well, not it's not. Technically the decade ends next year. Technically the new millennium started when 2000 ended and 2001 began, same goes for this, but with the decade.
End of an era! People throw that around all the time. What does that mean? I submit that it means nothing. Shit happens, and chances are if you already noticed an era is ending or coming to an end, it's inevitability has already arrived, so what's the use in pointing it out? NO POINT!
