Music Television - No Music, Awesome Ridiculousness

I used to really enjoy MTV; back when they had music, back when they sort of stopped and said "that's what MTV2 is for", then even when MTV2 stopped playing music and became reality television.

I always liked Real World.  I always liked Road Rules.  I always liked the stupid Challenges.  Haven't watched them  recently - and I heard I'm missing a lot of great stuff.  Currently the BuDaChick is sleeping, and I'm blogging about sports that no one will read, and watching the 2nd to last episode of this seasons "The Ruins".  Yeah, it's about as enjoyable as I remembered.

What I really have MTV on for is what comes on AFTER "The Ruins".  MTVs the "Jersey Shore".

I've heard nothing but amazing things, and I have to see this.  I feel like it's going to be MTV's TruLife episode "I Have a Timeshare".  That entertains me to this day.  "Jersey Shore" comes on right after this episode of "The Ruins", and I am counting the minutes.  What is Johnny Bananas talking about?  I don't know, but there are 23 minutes until "Jersey Shore", FUCK YEAH!

*EDITORS NOTE TO HIS FRIENDS* - I want to give a shout out to my boys Mac'n'Kev and Kegs'n'Eggs.  They talk about "The Ruins" all the time, and also about Bill Simmons comments regarding "Jersey Shore".  Thanks friends...

*EDITORS NOTE* - If you like Johnny Bananas, that's fine, but if you don't, make sure you click that link.  It's his MySpace page and the first thing I noticed was the quote for himself "If I hadn't assembled myself I'd have fallen apart by now...", which is a great quote, actually a lyric, written by Incubus's Brandon Boyd.  That's exactly the way to make us believe you have worked so hard on establishing yourself, to take something someone else said and using that as your main thesis about your life.  Yeah...
