The New Deadspin

Not a huge fan of what I am calling the "New" Deadspin.  Gawker media now has it's other affiliates adding information to Deadspin, and writing more lengthy articles.

Like this one about Shaquille O'Neill from the year 1996.  Honestly, why is it being published in the final month of the year 2009?

[No, Shaq Didn't]

It's not WHAT the article is about, it's the length and the affiliates and their writing styles.  Not a big fan.  I mean seriously, people say MY articles are long?  Bitch Please.

I'm pretty sure that the following article is where the turning point was.

[And Now a Brief Update From Our Comment Ninjas On Policies Going Forward...]

I like my Deadspin where I can post and not have to hope that it gets through screening.  WTF is with the stars.  I'm all for being funny in posts and comments and stuff, but there are comment mediators?  That's weird.  For example - Peggy Noonan.  YOU DON'T WRITE FOR DEADSPIN, apparently until now... "The Rich Eisen Problem".  TOO MUCH TEXT FOR A BLOG!  But seriously, why is she on my Deadspin. SELL OUTS!

*NOTE* - Here is something Peggy wrote on Deadspin on Oct. 3, 2009:  "Jay Cutler reminds me of America".  Ugh, no thanks.  [Is Jay Cutler The Next Tom Brady?]
