ALDS on TBS

So I'm watching the Twins @ Yankees tonight on TBS, and the game is about to go over on time. Dude comes on the screen from the studio and notes that the game will run late, and "...we will begin the Cardinals @ Dodgers game on our sister network, TNT, when that game is ready to begin. So if you are interested in watching that game, please switch to TNT in about... 8 minutes or so..." Awesome. There is nothing I hate more than poor coverage of sports, especially when I consider a game that I am watching "important". Turner Sports - thank you for not blacking out even a minute of coverage, or forcing me to change my television station. Well done sirs.

SIDE NOTE: This goes out to my buddy Mac'n'Kev, Joba just pitched 2 pitches for an out in relief. Nice. I still think Joba should be a regular season starter (or CAN be effective in that role at least), but I am happy to see him look good out of the bullpen in the post season. I think that THIS post season will be a better barometer to measure whether his effectiveness in the pen surpasses his play as a starter than any argument made to date. GO YANKEES! (That swing of his was so un-Jeter-ian, dude pulled that ball like Big Mac! Siick.)
